This policy covers this website, run by Jeffrey Oppenheimer MD P.C., doing business as Kosher Skinny Shots. Your health information — what you enter in the application and your account — is protected under HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
No forms on this website
This website has no contact form and no newsletter sign-up. When you tap Start you leave it for our secure application, and when you tap Sign in you go to your secure account.
Our visit counter
To know which pages help people, our own counter records each page view and each tap on Call or Start: the page's address, the website you came from (its name only, for example google.com), whether you use a phone, tablet or computer, the time, and your internet (IP) address and browser type, which we use to count each device once a day and to spot abuse. On the home page it also records how much of the video was played and how far down the page you scrolled. It records the city and state your connection comes from, as our hosting sees it (never a street or an exact location), and whether this browser has visited us before on another day: for that, the page keeps the date of your first visit in your browser's storage. Only a yes or no leaves your device, never an identifier, and if you tap Decline on our cookie notice the date is deleted and not kept. The counter uses no cookies. Only our administrators can see it. We keep these records for 13 months, then only daily totals.
Cookies and Google Analytics
If you tap Accept on our cookie notice, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to see how the website is used. If you tap Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load. We do not use advertising pixels, and we never use Google Analytics in the application or your account.
Who receives information
From this website: Google (if you accept analytics) and our hosting on Google Cloud. From the application and your account, as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices: the licensed pharmacy that prepares your medicine, the company that processes card payments, Google Cloud, which stores our records under a HIPAA business associate agreement, and the services that deliver our email. We never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Consumer health data
Some states, such as Washington and Nevada, give you rights over “consumer health data”. This website does not ask for health information. Our visit counter records which pages a device visits (see above); under some states' laws, that can count as consumer health data, and you have the rights below. The health information you give in the application is protected health information under HIPAA and is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices. To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete what the law allows, contact us below.
Children
Our services are for adults 18 and over. This website is not directed at children.
